My first contact with the scooter was my son living in Palm Springs and he had an older gentlemen he had met that didn't have much to do and then one day he arrived with a scooter and a big smile on his face
Al asked where he had got it - and wanted to get one for me. Al and his friend Dennis bought one for me and one for Dennis' dad.
They were front wheel drive and being that I am fairly heavy every time I hit a slippery place it would slip. The drive wheel would slip on the slippery spot. Then I got in touch with Peter and found out that they had a rear wheel drive and I ordered one and it came and we put it together and it was a wonderful difference and I could go anywhere with it.
It has lots of speed and lots of control. I really have enjoyed the little time that I have had that I could ride it. Since we are in the winter season and there is snow - I am waiting for spring to come so that I can ride it again.
I would recommend it for anybody who has a hard time getting around and doesn't want to be slowed down with the average scooter that is on the street today.
Being that this is set up for highway travel I can go anywhere and it doesn't take that long to get there. Thank you Peter for my scooter. Even when you named it a Barney Trike for Canada - I thought that was pretty good. I am sure that when I go into the malls that people are going to be asking where did you get that - and I will give them your phone number and address.
Thanks again - your friend
PS - This is typed for me by my daughter Gail
